Great bookstore. Lots to choose and helpful staff. Parking is right around the corner.

Rude customer service. There was a sign on the door saying “Please wear a mask, if you need one please ask at the front desk.” So I walked to the front desk to ask for a mask. I was greeted by the rudest cashier i’ve ever met. I asked politely for a mask because I try to be nice and go easy on everyone. She rolled her eyes and said, “Well i’m in the middle of a catastrophe but here’s your mask” and she slammed the box of masks on the table. I took one and as I walked away she was muttering things about me and my partner. I was excited to look at all the books but this completely turned me off of the store and I just wanted to leave. No apology or anything. We can be better.

Businesses in Brattleboro have come and gone but Everyone’s Books has stuck around. It’s a community hub. Great place to find books & gifts & conversations!!

It has a very wide collection of books; novels, poetry, reference books, all with an up to date book collections of current and relevant writers.

What are the Covid safety practices like here?

Limited number of people permitted inside (baskets stacked by back door, when they're gone you have to wait), masks required, of course, and hand sanitizer encouraged and available. Online ordering is available with pickup outside. Front door is not available for entry.

Do u have anything under $5 like toys and do you use plastic bags when people buy stuff from your shop

Not that is hasn't been answered, no toys but they have bumper stickers and card games and puzzles. Not sure how old the kids are but I am sure they have interactive books (pop ups and flip up, think 'Where's Maisy'). They use PAPER bags and have for as long as I have been going there (lived in the area for over 3 decades). Hope that helps.
