This store is so hit or miss with its hours. It's bad enough the 24hr service is gone, you can at least close at 12 like posted. 1130 and 1145 are NOT 12. I've even found it closed earlier than that when it was 24hrs. Very frustrating, especially when only 1 or 2 items are needed.

This place is extremely ghetto, the staff is super unprofessional and rude. It was an extremely awkward and uncomfortable environment, I would rather have driven to a different location but I happened to be close to this one.

My local CVS 💜. Whenever it’s busy with a line, there are several employees manning the registers working hard to move it. Thank you, this is appreciated. I hate lines and normally wouldn’t make one. The app makes it easy to find deals, coupons, and savings. Employees are knowledgeable of the program and always ask if I would like to apply my coupons. Surprised to see my CVS has bad reviews, thought I would share my positive experiences.

This afternoon my partner and myself made an essential trip for her mother’s medication and items for the household to the CVS Store #5381 on West Grand in Mount Vernon, NY. We and others we know frequent this location often, with little to no trouble. The original cashier (who’s name I unfortunately can’t recall) informed us that we were allowed 1 pack of toilet paper per customer. After asking if we could separate the purchases and getting the ok, I waited on line for the duration of time needed for another cashier to come help me. However the other cashier, Michael, arrived to ring me up the transaction got chaotic— he accused me of never actually leaving the register and that I was trying to buy a second pack of TP (even though I had no other paper products in my cart). “Go get a manager!” “You never left up here!” Our first cashier let him know that I indeed had re entered the line and wanted to ring a separate pack, with a new card. He continued to be aggressive and implied that we were provoking him saying “let me chill out”. We mentioned that we had the receipts, “...and I’m sure there are cameras around here”. The manager eventually did come and diffuse the situation but it was unnerving seeing that during times like these someone feels the need to yell rude things and make accusations. I don’t normally complain about things like this, and I know people are under extra pressure right now, but compassion and patience can go a long way! Greatly disappointed in the behaviors by the employee today.
