This family owned hotel, led by front desk staffer SHERYL, was very accommodating and close to the LIRR and in turn NYC/ Penn station. Sheryl was very helpful in taking care of our room arrangements after a little mishap and everything was great. We were there for a family visit and she took great care of us each day. Not a corporate chain, and very friendly. Would stay again.

I know what to expect from a mid price hotel, but we had an awful experience here. False advertising on the website.. it looks like a nice, average hotel but that was not farther from the truth. They forced us to valet our car, then charged us $20 a day for parking, which the website said nothing about. This is not necessary if it isn’t New York City. The rooms were absolutely FILTHY, and we even had to change rooms because our bathroom ceiling was caving in due to someone showering above us. The furniture was stained, nothing was even plugged into the walls when we got to the room. The walls were paper thin and you could hear everyone slamming doors all day and night, so don’t even bother trying to sleep. I would never recommend this place to anyone! It was so bad, the front desk didn’t even ask how my stay was while checking out.

All staff I came across were so kind and helpful. Seeing as our situation was being a family of 5 plus 2 dogs, they HIGHLY accommodated for us and were so patient with us as we were in and out a lot seeing family and going to eat etc etc. My only complaints are them claiming to be “kid friendly” and not having a roll away crib for my baby twins, instead being brought 2 old stained pack and plays (unknown of sanitization). Also, the room was very very dusty, the wall unit had visible built up dust and gunk in it but we had to use it, as the room was very stale/warm without. They also claim to be a hotel with breakfast but claimed since Covid is going on, they don’t accommodate for breakfast. Staff is amazing, cleaning a bit deeper could be beneficial, and upon booking tell your guests there will not be breakfast so they can prepare to spend money elsewhere.

Omg, great place too stay! Really! The front desk personnel are very courteous! The manager is only there too make your stay seem a whole lot more comfortable! And I can't say enough about the valet experience! Good job!

They valet car free. If you have visitors just call front desk,give name of visitors and they will valet free. However I thought the hotel was old,v ery small rooms. Petty wanted to charge $60 for a microwave. Most have free.
