Just Me

I hobbled in after visiting another Urgent from a neighbooring town 15 minutes away which was filled to capacity woth a 2 hr waiting list! I went to this place 3 days earlier and 3 days later still in the state I went 😔....Cooley Street AFC Urgent Care was simply thee BEST!!! From the time I stepped foot in the door the receptionist was extremely professional as with the medical assistant! Kudos to them!!! The doctor, Dr Sol I believe her name was very very knowledgeable along with being very informative of my situation. She took her time and explained my best methods and avenues for healing. Thank you...P.S.- Your wisdom has helped me and I am so greatful!!! Thank you!!

I used to love this walk in and would recommend it to everyone. However, new front desk staff have really tanked the experience. On Two different occasions the interactions have started hostile, once on the phone last week and once in person today (the 3rd). I’m sure the 4th of July weekend is not them at their friendliest but this was startling. Combined with their new online system causing billing discrepancies? I’m switching to a different clinic.

Awful experience. To sum it up, got wrong information on the phone about check in process. Very complicated registration process via cellphone. Then the person who greeted me and took my vitals asked me what was wrong with people behind me, what happened to hipaa(if they were trying to rule out Covid then ask specific questions related to that). Never apologized and said I didn’t have to answer if I didn’t want to. Then saw the doctor who cut me off as I was answering her question, seemed rushed and annoyed.

I brought my daughter to AFC Urgent Care in Springfield and was met with friendly staff who were organized and made the check in process very easy. They PA was thorough in accessing my daughter’s symptoms and also ordered an X-Ray to make sure nothing was overlooked. I am very thankful for the level of care that was given to my daughter by Chastity, Kristen, and the entire staff. There was also a follow-up call the next day. I spoke with Sol who was so pleasant and helpful. She answered all my questions and was very patient and knowledgeable. Many thanks to the caring staff at AFC and making my daughter feel comfortable during her visit. I would highly recommend AFC Urgent Care.
