Hi Nick, Martha's Vineyard Sightseeing offers tours of the Island daily at 11am, 1pm and 2:30pm leaving from Oak Bluffs. Please arrive 15 minutes before departure time. If you're simply looking for a way to get around the Island, we have a terrific public bus system called the Vineyard Transit Authority (or VTA). It's inexpensive, clean and reliable and the cost for a day pass, on & off as much as you like is $8. You can buy your day pass from any of the bus drivers with exact change, or purchase at a Steamship Authority ferry terminal with a credit card. You can find all the info, including schedules, at https://www.vineyardtransit.com
Hi Millie, thanks for reaching out. June 15- Sept 15 dogs are not allowed on beaches during the hours of 9a-6pm. Some beaches restrict dogs even further. However, there are several hiking trails that end at small beaches, were well socialized and leashed dogs may walk. I suggest downloading the free TrailsMV app, which will give you a list and description of all the trails on the Island which make for great walking (& sometimes swimming) with your dog. Thanks so much!

Hi Nick, Thanks for your inquiry. There are no chain restaurants on Martha's Vineyard, but there are several family priced places to eat, including several take-away options in Oak Bluffs, Vineyard Haven and Edgartown. Hope you enjoy your trip!
