When replacing the tires, Joe broke the brake pad and claimed that it was because it was close to breaking instead of taking the responsibility for his actions resulting in breaking the brake pad. Edit: "When removing all rear pads to replace them, they all became detached from their backing." I certainly hope that there isn't another brake pad that you broke and didn't tell me about other than the one causing this issue. I am only aware of the one broken brake pad and not the plurality you refer to. Even in your incorrect practice of replacing the front tires with new tires instead of the back tires (which is an entire problem in itself), you could have just as easily replaced the front two tires with the new tires instead of taking off every tire on the car unnecessarily (also adding to the high labor cost) Nothing stated in this review is false. It's understandable that everyone has bad days and makes mistakes, but it is important that you own up to the mistakes you make instead of charging the customer for them as the true price is your own reputation.

We love Joe's!!! Scott is who we talk to a lot and he is so knowledgeable and explains it in layman's terms so we know what's going on. Their prices are super fair and the work is superb! The women in the front office are just a delight and the doggo is super sweet!

Questions & Answers

Will he work on my car if I bought my own rotors and brakes? My mechanic had a stroke sadly and I always buy my parts and he would pit them on.

Yes, but the charge per hour is a little bit higher.

Do you charge to look at a vehicle to find out what the problem is.

In my experience with Joe's, usually not, but I'm sure it depends how involved they have to get to find the problem. It's a good idea to stop in and talk to them about the problem and then they can give you a good idea of how things will go from there.
