Course in good shape, but the greens had some brown spots and people don't pick up their feet and the greens were the slowest I've played on this year.

9/19/2021. I really liked the course layout. Definitely some challenges there on most holes. The fairways on most holes were a little sparse as far as grass. The greens were nice most of all, but there were a few with rough spots and one green was really bad. The sand traps unfortunately were no more that dirt. It looks like they used to have sand in them but maybe it all washed away with all the rain this year. Thankfully I did not hit in any of the traps. If I did I would have removed my ball. This course has a huge potential to be a really good course. Just needs some TLC from the grounds crew and some sand in the bunkers. Having never played the course I didn't know where the best place to hit the ball on some of the holes. When I play it again I think I could do better. Overall I really did like the course. I would enjoy playing it again. UPDATE... 9/26/2021. I played another course in the area. There were similar issues that I found here. Not having played much this year due to moving, I hadn't seen the courses I usually played in Rochester. I would guess that a lot of the issues I saw here were because of the weather this year. It must be very hard to maintain a course when it's wet all the time. Therefore because of that I'm going to upgrade my rating to 5 stars and see how the course develops next year. I really did like this course. I'm considering being a member here.
