Best you pick fruits! My daughter and I love the experience and getting them fresh tastes so much better then store bought. Last year we also went to the veggie stand at least 5-6 times for some fresh veggies. Amazing owners who really think about customer needs and the staff are always right there to help and have a friendly smile. Will be heading back for many years to come.

The best place to pick strawberries!! (And a whole bunch of other produce also! ) Sweetest family ever runs it, and it's a clean, family-friendly environment!

Swistak Farm is a heaven for the lover of fresh locally grown produce. While there are a few weekly Farmer's Markets in the county, there is nothing like being able to swing by a farm stand for fresh produce picked THAT DAY. I'm personally blessed with living a short drive from the Farm Stand and take full advantage of their U-pick Strawberry (June) and Blueberry (July) seasons. Come August, you have to make their stand a weekly stop for freshly picked sweet corn and I won't even tell you about their cucumbers. I fear word will get out and I won't be able to buy them for myself! *wink* It's tomato and pepper (like... ALL the peppers from sweet to spicy/hot) heaven with the sweetest eggplants I've EVER tasted. Basically, in a nutshell, once the farm stand is fully stocked there is no reason to buy produce from the local grocery story till after October 30th, when they close for the season. We are talking ALL the squashes, broccoli, cauliflowers (sometimes the pretty purple ones)... and other beautiful veggies I am forgetting about. If you can't tell by my monologue, I'm a HUGE fan and so grateful to have this family-owned farm in my "backyard." While I selfishly want ALL the veggies for myself, I want more for my community to support them so they continue to thrive for future generations.

What day and times are you open? Do you have to bring your own buckets and how much are the blueberries?

Blueberry picking is Tuesdays-Saturdays 8a-6p, weather permitting. You can bring your own bucket as long as it is marked with the sizing. Cups, quarts, gallon- any marking can be converted. U-pick blueberries are $4/quart. Thank you!
