I’m a trucker and I picked up there last week. Quickly loaded (within an hour or so), and they were nice and helpful. Street is a little busy and the dock is a little tight, but not bad or impossible.

The man with the glasses weighing your metal will steal your hard earned money I weighed 97lbs of copper before going, I even had to have the guy working there give me a hand to carry it, and he only paid for 50. The man that drives the forklift couldn't believe i was only paid for 50 lbs he shook his head in disbelief,When i complained he had already dumped it in the copper bin with the other copper. Don't EVER EVER bring your metal there

I’ve been here once, i brought cooper back i was very satisfied with the experience plus what i got!! I prefer Solomon metal over any other place around. I’ve been bringing metal back to scrap it in Chelsea but they screw you 7 ways to Sunday.

First time selling scrap. Been looking into it for a while as a little extra revenue for my company, but scrap yards don't make it easy to find them online or how it works. Solomon had a decent web site, with prices, and it was on my way to an appointment, so I thought I would give it a try. Had a small pick-up full of aluminum siding I took off a house. Drove right up to the loading doors, walked in and ask he first person I saw for some help. He was great. Pointed me to the scale, then directed me to the aluminum section, and even helped me unload. Sent me back out the scale, for weight-out and a slip, and then into the office for 2 minutes and some cash. Was pretty easy and straight forward and turned out to be great money too! I was so happy with the experience, I went back the next day with another load, and received the same courteous help. Will use again. One piece of feedback that would make it easier. Put on your website the process for bringing in scrap. Like a step by step with pictures (drive up to the scale and where the scale is, weigh in, where to bring things or how to unload, weigh out, where to get paid, etc)
