I should have taken a picture before I started eating, but the scent was sooooo alluring. The food is incredible and nostalgic. I almost thought I was back home eating a Sunday dinner 😅 the stew peas is freaking amazing, and the plantains were cooked to perfection. If you’re from the Island or just want to try Jamaican food, I’d definitely recommend going here 😊

We have enjoyed two meals from here, and it is our new local favorite. We've ordered so many different dishes, and truly loved them all, the oxtail, goat, jerk chicken. All homemade and gorgeously spiced. I highly recommend both the black cake and the sweet potato pudding. I warmed mine up at home in the microwave, and they are just glorious! The owners are delightful to chat with, and I can tell how much love they put into her food. She has a small team so order ahead for the best service.

This was the best jerk chicken I've ever had. Perfectly seasoned and juicy. The beef patty was excellent as well. I highly recommend adding a piece of black cake to your order. The entire meal was fantastic.

Wendy's food is great! Very glad to finally visit and sample some of the menu. At the suggestion of others in the restaurant, I got the oxtail rather than the curry chicken, with sides of sweet plaintains, rice, and veg. The oxtail is very good, full of flavor, and the meat sheds off the bone nicely. The plantains! I'm not a big fan of sweet plantains -- or so I thought. My time in the Dominican Republic turned me off from sweet plantains, but Wendy's are very very good. A perfect pairing for the flavor of the oxtail stew. And, of course, you have to get some Ting!
