We will 100% go back to the south shore beach. The view is breathtaking, the water was fairly warm and the sand is soft. Be aware this is a a clothing optional beach.

One of the best lake in Vermont. You can kayak/paddle on the lake and available to rent from the store across the road. The store also has great food and sell beers as well. As you can see in the photos, it has amazing view.

This lake is one of the most stunning in Vermont. Bring a boat because that's the best way to see it. If you get there early you can vote to one of the primitive campsites on the lake which is an incredible experience. There's also great hiking in the area that is well worth checking out. This is a not-to-be-missed area Vermont especially in the fall when the colors are changing.
