I love coming to this location because of the proximity to my house. But, it's sad to see how management has the staff working in such bad conditions on a day like today 95°F and they have no air-conditioning. This is unacceptable. Revenue over a good safe working environment should not be acceptable.

Horrible experience the staff is very childish my playa bowl was served melted is it suppose to be a soup place with fruits . When I went back to complain about my order I was given a new playa bowl as they were preparing the order the staff so immature instead of apologizing the girl was laughing like what’s so funny ? I use to spend a lot of money on a weekly basis I must say they lost me as a customer. I will buy two bowls equaling to 25 dollars or more . The manager should really train there staff in the union city location .

What a great place and friendly staff and owners. We have ordered bowls from here many times. Always fresh fruit and granola. We have never been disappointed when ordering from here. Portion sizes are great. This place was really helpful during the pandemic. It’s a nice way to eat something sweet and healthy. So glad they have a location in Union City!

It’s so refreshing to sit and eat a frozen/ fresh treat from playa bowls. The bowls here are BIG and the menu has endless add-on options to pack your bowl w protein and nutrients. The Nutella bowl is my recommendation if you don’t know where to start and want something that you’re guaranteed to LOVE.
