It’s a nice place to take my dog so she can swim around. Depending on the river level, the beach may be underwater. But there is still aces and acres of grass and woods to roam around. There are some bathrooms as well.

This park and beach are a great spot to take a walk and enjoy the river. There are bathrooms and a easy path down to the beach. We saw sea lions, dogs, and horses. Careful if barefoot, there’s horse poop around.

The Dike Trail from Steamboat Landing to Cottonwood Beach is a great walk with a beautiful view of the Columbia River.

When I was there I didn't see any grill areas but then again I didn't walk down very far I went straight to the beach but I recommend bringing a small grill that you can easily pack in pack out
Most of the dogs by the water are off leash. I dont know what the rules are to be honest.
