Good prices, but the cashiers there aren't usually so great. Some are quite rude.

Cheap food YES! Cheap attitude NO! It is 4th July between 11 to 11:30am, someone was screaming "enter your code! Code! Code!" right after I entered the entrance of this location. I followed the voice and saw a blond African black cashier at #3 was yelling at an old lady. The whole store was quiet, but that scream. I was very irritated and tried to shake that ugly image off my head , but I can't, it is too disgusting to see a store employee behaves like that to the elderly. I went back to the cashier area, she was gone. Later, w when I was lining up at cashier, she giggled coming out of employees room, yelling and making announcement " I am taking my xxx break," she cruised out of store, again everyone was quiet, no her coworkers even look at her as everyone was busy. I understand Aldi let cashiers sitting there for better productivity, however, some employees may assume it is some kind of power given to them? This neighborhood has a lot immigrants from east Europe, Asian, middle East, they may not be so familiar with your payment system, I was even warned several times for not being able to see the small panels, but it is always pleasant, most employees their are very friendly. A suggestion to Aldi, look out for bad apples among your hard working employees. A employee feels her work place like home is great, but not trash your work place like how you do at home. Friendliness and courtesy are basic requirements for customer service. I hope this employee can have the same healthy physical and mentally condition like the old lady she was yelling at when she get old.

A bare bones supermarket with a nice selection of items. Customers have to pay .25 cents for use of a cart. Bags are .07 cents each. A good place to shop if you're on a budget, have a large family or throwing a party. Typical cashiers and shoppers with NYC attitudes. There is an indoor parking lot that charges $3 per hour. There is scant on street parking.

Fantastic, *unbeatable* prices. Straight forward, no frills shopping experience. Great choice. If you scroll through the pictures on Google for this store, be sure that they are up-to-date because they recently remodeled to create a more fresh, open, spacious shopping experience and they did a great job! I've posted updated pictures to this review so that you can see the improvements for yourself.

Yes. Overall, most of the prices are best deals you'll find. There are only a few things which cost the same or slightly more than others stores. They are: 1)cooking oil 2)rice 3)beef and bacon 4)canned items Pretty much everything else is a great bargain. Plus, I strongly recommend checking out online the store's weekly grocery ad for deals. I'm not sure what your budget is, but I have mine at $60/week for three people. And I can usually get everything at ALDI under that cost.
Yes, they carry a selection of Kirkwood chicken.
I used to live in Woodbridge, NJ, they carry it there
