I love shopping here. I just believe it closes too soon. I also see people use the parking lot as a race track.

Produce is always moldy & the useless robot is always in the way or it follows you around. I really dislike this location

Stop & shop has really let me down since the employee protest; they have been jacking the prices up since, bought a robot for way too much money just to notify them up piece of dust on the floor. (Shout out to Marty, my kid loves you) they only ever have two isles open with an actual cashier. The rest are self scan... Blah. since come in they have literally had nothing in stock meanwhile when market basket had fully stocked their paper towels and toilet paper that took a few more months until s an s did. Meanwhile they put out a useless commercial about how supportive they were to their customers during this tough time" I won't go here anymore. * Update* The fact that they said the prices haven't gone up as a response is in bad taste and insulting as anyone who has shopped there years before COVID and NOW can't be fooled. Our groceries each week have gone from $175-$300. I know Amy's soups used to be $3.19 now up to 3.99... *I did call to report the stop n shop shopping carts that have been ditched around town, as the police informed me it was the store's responsibility to collect them, And I was pleasantly surprised they were picked up by the next day. So I'm adding a star for that... However, hoping they can resolve that problem with some sort of magnetic invisible fence for the carts not to be able to be taken off the property.

Ran in for something that was left out of my drive up order. The associate at the self checkout seemed less than happy to see me when I showed up with 3 items. No greeting, no acknowledgement, gave me a look like I was disturbing her as she put bags at the registers. When the receipt printer door fell open as I was checking out, she came over and started scolding me in how I put my items on side after I scanned them..."First off, you don't stack them, you need to lay them side by side" I told her that I was good, didn't need any assistance, but she kept going on. I thanked her and left the store.....prior to COVID in March 2020, this used to be my favorite Stop & Shop. Since I started coming back in January 2022, it's just not the same friendly, helpful people. Today was the 3rd time I've been here and will probably be my last. I'll be heading to the other grocery store where I picked up all through COVID.

Better than a hospital! Large signs, 6 ft marked off, safe check outs, only one entrance and exit( I think that is a bit much, given restrictions are loosening up, but you can know that you are shopping safely!
I shop there for the sales but I don't like there business model of putting stores in poor areas and then preying on the elderly and disabled who have no where else to go. Shameful.
THERE ISN'T A GAS STATION AT THE READING STOP & SHOP. HOWEVER, ABOUT 50 YDS. UP THE STREET ON THE SAME SIDE IS A SHELL GAS STATION OPEN 24/7 !!
There is no gas station here
