When I was younger, this was one of the only ihops in the city. This was waaay back … when the establishment only hired female waiters. I came here just yesterday with my family and was happy to see that most of the place hasn’t changed. The updates to the place are minimal but it still has a vintage feel. Unfortunately, the service wasn’t too great. To offset it, the food was good quality. I would come back again.

This is one of my favorite locations to visit. Be prepared for a wait to be seated, since this is a popular location. The food is great and our favorite waiter Frankie ALWAYS makes sure your food comes correctly and hot. When you visit ask for Frankie. If he's not available, ask for Renny. You won't be disappointed.

Asked for mashed potatoes. I mean I know they use instant, but it seems like they can't mix water and powder properly. Its so soupy, I almost need a spoon. Nothing is seasoned. And they have tiny salt and pepper packets. $16 for a small amount of shaved turkey, mashed potato soup and decently steamed broccoli, even though one big piece is clearly starting to turn. I'm just hungry enough and I'll finish my plate because I already sent it back once. This reminded me why I stopped going to IHOP in the first place and started cooking more at home. At least the server was nice. That's the only reason its at 2 stars.
