I recently brought my 1999 Chevy Silverado in and I was genuinely impressed with the experience at Rob's transmissions. Rob is extremely professional, knowledgeable and very fairly priced. I highly recommend this business to anyone with transmission issues or any other kind of issue with their vehicle.

Took my car to Rob’s for a quote on my transmission and was told it would cost almost $5,000 to repair or replace . Took it to another mechanic and was told it’s was transmission sensor and cost $175 to repair . Thank god I listen to my gut and went with a second opinion. Not saying they are dishonest but should have taken more time to figure out the problem.

Had a transmission rebuilt on my wife's 2006 Monte Carlo SS here, and was told they were using "better than factory parts" to rebuild it so it would "outlast the car"... Less than 3 years later had to replace it AGAIN with a remanufactured transmission... To "Owner's Response" on my review: Well, it was $3600 (and change) to have the transmission rebuilt. "Those words" (as you call them) were used about 5 or 6 years ago? by YOUR staff when we had the work done. They even explained what parts would be "upgraded" by having it rebuilt instead of replaced. (Which is why we chose to have it rebuilt) And the extended warranty was even more money (at $3600 for a rebuild, it should have come with the extended warranty) I think we got about 32,000 miles of driving before it had to be replaced. Call it what you will, but it was poor workmanship. Which is why we went elsewhere to have it replaced, and it's still running, (60, 000 miles+) with no issues to this day.
