My husband and I (and my sister and brother-in-law) visited Hosmer on 2/21/22. We walked in and were immediately greeted by our sommelier, Stephanie. She seated us and explained the whole tasting process while we picked out our 5 wines to try. She was SO knowledgeable about each and every wine and all of the regions across the wine-growing world and made our experience absolutely incredible. We ended up buying a whole bunch of wine (even though we were not pressured to do so) and talked about our experience there the rest of our time in the finger lakes. I highly recommend Hosmer Winery! Great relaxed place for a wine tasting. We even got to play with Wyatt the dog! Prices are great, especially since we could keep the wine glasses after our tasting. Not sure if that is a special just for the off-season, but it is a great souvenir that was not repeated anywhere else on our trip. The wine is exceptional. The chardonnay is the best we tried on our trip and uses just a touch of oak. The semi-dry riesling is full and seamless and has everything I look for in that type. Obviously this is to preference but it seems like a crowd-pleaser and is a great choice for a gift. Hosmer will be my top spot to re-visit the next time I'm around Cayuga Lake.

Great atmosphere. Sever Hannah was nice, knowledgeable, and relatable. Easy to have personal conversation with. Flight and bottle prices were great. Would highly recommend and will back again.
