They now charge you to see the water falls. Campers pay enough to allow the public to hike this without charge as they did before. You also have to pay to visit friends now. If I own the camp it should include the cost of friends visiting. It's kept up well and clean the staff is friendly.

This was the first time I’ve been here. I came just to see the waterfall. The girl behind the counter was incredibly nice and provided great directions to get to the falls. No backpack allowed and $5 for adult. It’s downhill and involves a few sets of stairs. Along the way you’ll see some fascinating rock structures. A little less then a mile to get there since the first outlook is closed due to repairs. This was easy enough for me and my 15 year old daughter. The waterfall was truly beautiful and a must see!

My partner Peter and I visited the campground today for a walk to the waterfall. The young woman in the store was helpful and answered our questions. After reading other Google reviews I asked if taking photos were allowed. They are. I then asked if backpacks are allowed because one review said they aren’t. The review is correct, no backpacks. The reason is people bring food in wrappers or other items in and then leave garbage on the trail. Basically, a few disrespectful people ruin it for others. Now to the waterfall - absolutely amazing. There are also huge rock walls along the trail that are geological wonders. The main stairs were closed so we went down another set that led us to a trail along the Chateaugay river to the falls. We took the same trail back along the river, but took a trail up a hill that brought us into the camp. Back at the store, I met the owner and thanked her for allowing public access on her property. She was polite and very friendly. All in all, it was a wonderful walk with amazing natural wonders. My only recommendation would be better directional signage.

An amazing little hidden gem. Steep but short little hike from the campground to the falls. Campsites all under tall trees with plenty of room. Some of the seasonal sites have some cool extensions so it's worth a walk around to see. Small pool but does the job on a hot day. Water quality was pretty good here (140ppm)
