Great and affordable place to adopt a pet! The animals are well cared for and the staff are very friendly!

The care that the animals get is second to none. I dropped off donated blankets and towels. Open for adoption or donation Tuesday thru Saturday 11 to 3pm currently by appointments.

Although I did not end up adopting from this shelter, the staff were incredibly helpful. Even during these trying times they took the time to answer all my questions and assist with the adoption application. I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a fur baby.

TL;DR: Don't get your hopes up of adopting a dog here, even if you have absolutely perfect pet care practices, own your home, and an A+ vet reference... A convoluted, confusing, and downright asinine adoption process. Apparently, having a 20+ year vet reference, experience owning small dogs for all those years, and submitting a MORTGAGE STATEMENT isn't enough to qualify for adopting a small dog from this shelter. Story: We saw a dog we were interested in adopting on one of our weekly visits, and asked about putting in an application, only to be told that they would be accepting applications after the dog was spayed. I called two days later and was then told we *could* put in an application, even though the dog *wasn't* spayed. So, we put in the application (with a copy of our mortgage statement), and came back a few days later to visit the dog again. It turns out that now the dog had a dozen applications for her, since she was shown on Channel 10 that morning as being available! So, we asked when the final decision would be made, and were told that it could possibly be a while since there were so many applications to go through. Both of us called back a couple times over the next week, asking how the spay procedure went, and when their final decision would be made, and kept being told it would be a while. THE VERY NEXT DAY we go down to visit the dog again, and she's been adopted. When we asked to speak to the director to find out why we were rejected, she told us that an old woman who didn't have any dogs came in and applied and they felt it was a better match. Really? REALLY?? Will the dog get walked four times every day? Will the dog get the absolute best food available, bar none? Will the dog receive top-quality vet care? This is what drives people away from local shelters and into the pockets of breeders. It's a process that requires you to practically beg to take a needy animal home, only to be told that your top-notch standard of pet care isn't what they're looking for in an adopter. Don't bother coming here...

You have to call and see if they can take a surewnder forst, in case they are full
Yes they have an adoption fee.
95$ for a cat, forgot kitten fee. But they are microchipped. Utd on shots and fixed if possible.
After hours? No, but you can post a message on their Facebook. They are wonderful there, I do hope you find your pet!
They usually don't have specialized trained service dogs of any kind you might want to try disability groups not sure of the cost sorry for your current situation
Where can I please find that too
I'm not sure. Call and ask. They're extremely helpful.
I am not sure you will have to call them. ..they are nice people.
