Stopped by the visitor center for some postcards and a map. Saw that they had daily tours going. So we had to hop in one! The tour guides wore period clothing - which was very neat. Took through about 1/2 the freedom trail and talked/stopped along the way to talk about the different historically significant places. Very fun!

Vey informative visitor center...loved the way Mr. Paul at the visitor center helped me out and gave me all the helpful information. Just amazed by his friendliness and welcoming. Definitely do a guided tour for the feedom trail. There are some very fine details that really help you appreciate the buildings and the names of all these historical people in Boston. Tour lasted one hour and a half...well worth the money payed. Not all the historical sites were touched upon though, but that's understandable. Boston is filled with so much history...so much more than one hour and a half can hope to cover. But our tour guide was fantastic and very fun with the way he explained the history of the buildings and the famous people involved. Just wish I could've gotten his name to recommend him to everyone.

While you can start your Freedom Trail from anywhere, this is a great place to start. Clean bathroom, small gift shop, available for sale guide books, and knowledgable and friendly staff will send you off the right path, literally.

The people at the Boston Common visitors Center cannot be more helpful! I enjoyed my time speaking with them as they were quite helpful in me learning about the city of Boston. I cannot be more grateful for their knowledge…

As far as Im concerned you do not need to take any tests. Some stores/restaurant will require masks whether you are vaxed or not so everyone should bring a mask. Your friend who's not vaxed should already wear a mask at least indoors both for their and everyone else's safety.
I believe you can go to any CVS or Walgreens and get your test while you're in Boston if you have medical insurance I do not believe there is a fee I would look it up online first prior to your visit
Some great attractions and venue include JFK museum, historical walking tour, Boston harbor boat tour, USS Constitution, Boston Tea Party historical site, science museum and IMAX theater, Harvard Square, and the indoor farmers market.

I Would suggest: 1 Ave de Lafayette # 1, Boston, MA 02111, but This one is closer: 37 Temple Pl, Boston, MA 02111
No, but bathrooms are helpful.
