Easy to drive to. Parking was available. Beautiful views, wonderful photo opps. I was unable to hike down to the bottom of the falls, snowy and back injury. Lots of people were braving the cold and hiking down to the bottom.

A little natural treasure right in the middle of a college town. The falls are gorgeous. And when you stand in front of the falls it doesn’t feel like you are in the middle of a city. Super easy walk, depending on the time of year. Just a few minutes from the road to the base of the falls. Not a lot of parking.

Ithaca falls is just a wonderful place to be in the town yet feel transported to another place. This is one of our favorite places to visit, take photos and videos or just look at the falls. The simple beauty of life. Definitely worth a stop if your in CNY.

Extremely short walk from parking area to falls makes it a great place to take little kids. Bring waterproof boots and of course be careful, but otherwise a really nice experience for my toddler and elementary age kids.

I was considering coming up there jus yr for a day trip and because I love waterfalls... I did however read that there was a max of 1hr parking, is this this true and is there a fee for parking?

There is an unpaved gravel lot on a hill next to Ithaca Falls. I always park there when I visit the falls. I've stayed for up to an hour with no trouble. The falls are only a few steps from the parking lot so you probably won't need more than an hour anyway. I did not see any postings about a 1 hour limit the last two times I was there but do pay attention to signage. I got a ticket where I parked near the entrance to Cascadilla Gorge.
