The lobby, bar, and restaurant were very nice and clean, along with the room and bathroom. My only complaints would be the fact that its an 8 story hotel with only 1 set of elevators and with the pool being on the 3rd floor it left a lot to be desired. I honestly wasnt sure if it was a small pool or big hot tub. The location was kind of a pain with all the construction happening in the area, but once you get there, there are so many restaurants and stores within walking distance, and the view of downtown Lafayette from the out door 3rd floor balcony was also pretty nice.

Disgustingly dirty room with bad stale odor My husband and I planned an overnight trip into Lafayette to attend an event on the Purdue campus & I chose the Holiday Inn based on the high reviews of the hotel. Upon our arrival on Saturday afternoon we noticed how beautiful the hotel was on the outside and when we walked inside it was also very nice, spacious and nicely decorated. We were checked in quickly and went to our room to unpack. Our the room overall was basic - The room furniture was pretty worn and roughed up. But it was the cleanliness of the room (or lack of cleanliness) that really grossed us out. The rooms carpeting did not seem like it had been vacuumed in sometime...all over carpeting but especially noticeable on the perimeter...and by that I mean there was a small pile of seeds left under the desk and mostly piled near the wall...not to mention the entire carpet. The bathroom was no better - aside the toilet it didn't seem the floor had been swept or mopped...All the surfaces in the room were sticky and you could see the dried water marks where they'd been wiped Since we were only there for the night I didn't bother saying anything to management. I wish I had booked the Hampton Inn or Hilton Garden Inn down the street. Very disappointing. At least the bed itself was comfortable to sleep in - though as soon as I woke up I slipped by shoes on to walk to bathroom and shower ... we quickly got out of there in the morning

Absolutely disgusting hotel. Arrived at 10pm and was told housekeeping was not done cleaning the rooms. Waited until 10:45 and was given an occupied room that the front desk said there was no one in. Finally given a room that was disgusting with an unmade bed and towels all over the room. Do not waste your money here. Pay a few more dollars and stay closer to campus. One of the worst hospitality experiences I’ve ever had

Upon checkin found a lobby full of unhappy people, 1 housekeeper and no rooms. Was told to sign in and they would call. An hour later was given 1 of my 2 rooms. No towels and toilet was literally FULL of SH*T. Staff said it would be taken care of. After dinner and game came back to be given same room and it had the same toilet issue! Given 2 different rooms, one had a large bug crawling across white comforter, carpets were filthy and by the time your shower was done the tub was full. Asked for refund and was refused. Steer clear of this location!!!!!
