We love the beer/ciders but found the food to be lackluster the past few years. We saw the menu had changed a little online and decided to give it another try tonight! The food was MUCH better this time! We started with the Mexican corn flat bread and it was great! The spicy minestrone was DELICIOUS and the smoked peach salad was so good! Happy to have it redeemed as a great local restaurant to frequent!

Beer was the only thing worth visiting for, the Mediocre food is overpriced. My burger was over cooked and had absolutely no seasoning, no condiments or pickles on the burger. I asked for salt and pepper and J.J. the bartender gave me to go S&P packets.. Really?! No salt and pepper shakers? Also the mac and cheese was very bland, it tasted like it came from the box seriously. Sad to say, first and last time I'll be visiting this place.

This is such a cool spot for a brewery to set up in. Being in an old school really adds a lot of character and makes for a unique dining experience. Their beer selection is good, with a great selection of seasonal offerings and a great hazy IPA line up. Food is also wonderful, and I highly recommend getting the brisket. I especially liked the fact that they serve their BBQ with a selection of four different sauces. Very cool! Service was friendly and our food arrived quickly as well. This is a must visit spot for any beer enthusiast!

Wow! What a find! Took a little detour on a road trip and stopped here for lunch and a beer. Great spaces inside and out. Wonderful service and solid beer selection. I had the moonlite. I did the ribs with Mac n cheese. Both were delicious. Wished this place we're in my hometown. Well done Moontown!

I wouldn’t say families are welcome but there is an area outside of bar to dine.
Just go and enjoy the great food, drink, and friendly staff. No need to fear the vid.
Yes, my wife was excited to see more than beer. The place is really awesome, great food, and the people who work there are stellar as well. (I approve this message)
I've been to a couple breweries since things started to slowly reopen. One claimed on their Instagram to be following a long list of safety protocols and it was not remotely true--only one employee was wearing a mask, no hand sanitizer, no distancing of customers, and even the owners were behind the bar without masks and milling about the taproom. I've been to Moontown twice because every single employee is following every single safety protocol imaginable...and the beer is incredible.
