If you like craft beers and visited tampa, you should going to cigar city brewing, there is number 1 brewery in tampa also you can drink some special beers only taproom. My favorite beers are barrel aged imperial stout in here. That's change every months and really high quality but if you don't have luck, you can't drink barrel aged imperial stout. It's easy to sold out. Also here have many seasonal beers that's also can't get other place except other cigar city taproom.

Cigar City is still one of the best breweries in Tampa. Their Spruce St Tap Room is completely remodeled and very spacious. The food is really good with some great starters to pair with beer. Speaking of beer… they have an awesome selection. They have their regulars …, jai alai, frostproof and cosmic crown…. But there is so many others that they brew only at their taprooms. There is something for every taste and some that are so good you can actually buy crawlers or growlers to bring home. They sell merchandise and a cooler full of their standard beers. Overall, every time I come here I find my new favorite beer… It’s awesome.

I was really excited to visit here. I have had their beer in Columbus, OH, read plenty about them beforehand. I walked 2 miles to get there from my hotel. Sat down at the bar,I might as well have been invisible. With 4 guys behind the bar, low customer count, it took about 5 min to acknowledge I had even sat down, with them right in front of me. They stayed busy with everything else except customer service. The beer and food are decent to good. I had 3 supervisors sitting around me or working. I could hear them talk about the company,it didn't seem like a good culture. Service continued to be poor. It ruined what should have been a good experience and I got to think about it the next 2 miles back.

This brewery has something for everyone! Great beers, great food, great service, and great ambiance. I can’t wait to come back. I hope they start offering tours again someday because I would love to learn about the brewing process in more detail.

Yes, everything from soap to specialized hoodies
They told me no tours right now. Due to covid. But they seem to be evaluating reopening.
Hi Robert, Jai Alai IPA is 7.5% ABV. We also have a similar beer with a lower ABV called Jai Low IPA, which is 4% ABV.
They have a cafe now where you can get food and beer.
Good question..try calling them...and ask...
Talk to a cooper
No. Food trucks also you can bring food. They have been cool with that before
Yes on both counts. But you gotta smoke outside. Last I visited they had cigars rolled onsite. Otherwise, bring your own. Check out Ybor for cigar shops.
Yes, it is a good place to spend some time, anytime of day.
I would imagine any place with a decent selection would have it in cans.
There are rooms but I would call the brewery about availability
Just to clarify a little on Daniel's answer: none of CCB's beer is brewed in Ybor. The brewery is on Spruce in Tampa, which is about 8 miles from Ybor. CCB has never had a presence in Ybor.
3 monthsish
I think their main thing is closed toe shoes. You have to pay for the tour and you get beer samples along the way.
I would check their Facebook page for their foodtruck schedule
Yep. They have a brewery dog or two running around any time we've gone. Our Pup has enjoyed going multiple times.
