Beer was good, we found out quickly it is not kid friendly. Brought us our drinks and then we were forgotten about completely in a separate room from the brewing (21+) area. I had to go out to our vehicle to get water cause the food truck food was so spicy with no server in sight. It is definitely a date night place, not a kid friendly place.

Our first time to Black Dog Brewing Company. The beer was great. Food from Jps was amazing. And the atmosphere was awesome!! The venue is a great location. The outdoor seating was cute and well lit. Sadly it was sprinkling and a little chilly or we would have sat outside. We will definitely be back and continue to support this small town brewery.

For starters, Black Dog does not provide the food, it is catered. The beer and the wine was very good. We both opted for the T-Bone steaks. My $20 steak was worth maybe $5. It was full of grizzle and way over seasoned. The hillbilly corn was kinda blah and the green beans are just canned beans with some seasoning. Next time if we come back will try the bbq. It’s just the picture on Facebook of the steak was deceiving. Worth the drive for the local beer.
