We built this place from the ground up. We started with nothing for horses and it's grown into a pretty big business. We do our best to make everyone as happy as we can, but that's impossible to make everyone happy. Family run business that makes sure the horses are as happy as they can be. One of the very few equine facilities that teach Western horseback riding lesson; Not gaming, just pleasure riding. We also teach English as well but we don't focus on it as much as western. We also do not teach more than three riders in one lesson so you can have individual instruction. If this isn't what your looking for, please give us a call and I can refer you to what you might be looking for. I do my best to make sure everyone can get involved with horses, even if that means sending you another facility that will take care of your needs. Tours are available most any time. Just give me a call or text and I'll be happy to make this happen.

I've been riding at Evergreen for 7 years! I absolutely adore Jen and Barb. They know their strengths, place you with the best fit trainer and use that to best fit their lesson riders to the right horses. They will push you to learn and grow into the rider you want to be. I wouldn't change barns even if you paid me. They are honest, straight forward and loyal to all the horses, even their boarders. Update 6/2020: I've been riding at evergreen for 10 years now! I have had the chance to grow my knowledge about horses as I spend more and more time involved in their daily routine :) the effort they have towards caring for each horses individual needs is amazing! Their ability to be straight forward with expectations and holding those accountable to provide what the horses need is great. I continue to enjoy being at Evergreen stables! I'm officially a horse owner and I am pleased with their effort to keep her healthy and happy.

I have been boarding my three horses here for a couple years now. My previous barn was more show-English and I have to say that I found my niche here. Having two senior horses, I was happy to know that the barn owner has several seniors of her own and they all look fantastic! One would never know that these guys are their ages and work happily! She makes certain they get the rest they need and they aren't over worked. They are happy, healthy and look years younger than they are. That is such a relief and boon to know when you have two older guys who need a little extra attention. I love the relaxed atmosphere. Yes there's some showing going on, but you're not going to break the bank. Shows are supposed to be fun and if it's too hot/cold for rider and horse, it doesn't happen. I'm all for that. And trail riding! It's always an adventure and me and my horse found our place leading everyone around town and making strides to get out to the Greenway Trail. Hoping we can start trucking to other parks and go for longer rides. There are folks from all walks of life here at this facility and to find someone to ride with is great. Not only do you learn from the instructor, but you can learn from others without judgement. Rarely can you find a place that can be so encouraging. If you're looking for a place to have a great time learning about horses, are committed to improving your riding consistently and to gain confidence in yourself without the pressure of showmanship and being judged, this is the place. These people work hard and do right by their working partners.

I cannot say enough about Evergreen and the instruction that I have received here. It has been 30 years since I rode and to get back on a horse at 56 years of age is not an easy thing to do, believe me. Jennifer is patient, knowledgeable and has made this an absolutely wonderful experience. The barn is well kept as are all of the horses. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to learn to ride.

Volunteering is welcome for all ages. What types and how long you'd like to volunteer for will need to be discussed over the phone/text or in person.

For boarders, we provide all the supplies. It's full care only. We do all the work and you just come ride and enjoy your horse
