It's a beautiful covered bridge spanning the Hoosick river in the town of Buskirk Nay.

It's a average bridge, but you get over it and that's really all you can expect. (😂). Nice parking area and large view of the river.

The 1850 Architectural style: Howe truss, Buskirk Bridge is a wooden covered bridge and is the name of the hamlet in which it is located. It is in the town of Hoosick. The bridge, which crosses the Hoosic River is one of 29 historic covered bridges in New York State. The bridge takes its name from the nearby hamlet of the same name, which was named after the local Van Buskirk family. The Buskirk Covered Bridge is the only inter-county covered bridge in New York State, joining Rensselaer and Washington Counties. It is one of four covered bridges still standing in Washington County. It is owned and maintained by both Rensselaer and Washington Counties and carries traffic across the Hoosic River.
