This mansion is a beautiful getaway located on a quiet hill. It is a great choice for those who want to choose their breakfast time and eat a nice meal before they start their day. It's not buffet style with a variety of food choices but the hosts ask beforehand about allergies. We ate eggs Benedict one morning and french toast with bacon the next. Delicious. Cooked and served with 💘 love. Also check out time is flexible. Bathrooms are in the room so no sharing bathrooms with others. The hosts are wonderful and treat you like family. Enjoy your stay.

Steve and Mary Ann were wonderful hosts! The house is beautiful, they've put a lot of time and thought into the interior renovations. Lots of history here, it's the only building in the world built out of red slate. We had French toast with maple syrup, bacon, fresh watermelon, coffee and orange juice for breakfast..... delicious! Rooms were cozy. Our particular room did not have air conditioning but was fine by just leaving the window open and running the ceiling fan (and I stayed here in mid-July). This is really a neat place, I'd love to stay here again.
