The store has great food and and fresh pastries, muffins, bagels etc. The breakfast sandwiches are hearty and delicious. The have a small market, coffee bar and coolers for local goods. The staff is great.

Lakeside General is my go-to for gifts at Christmas time, but I shop all year 'round! My husband and I love going for breakfast or lunch, as it's our special date spot! Everything they serve is top-notch quality and the owners are such beautiful people inside and out! It's a must-go gem hidden in the Adirondacks!! ❤🌷❤

Lakeside General Store was such a wonderful find for us.The breakfast sandwich , with eggs, sausage,bacon and melted cheddar cheese was positively huge--and delicious ! The coffee was the best coffee we have had since moving up here a year ago.Bought a bag from the store and brought it home--also a local roaster. Baked items--raspberry square was awesome. The store was perfect...from a wine and spirits room --to the general store which has everything--great bread, sauces, toys----everything. The staff were very friendly, and nice in every way . We are excited to go back--often !
