We were passing through Tampa while traveling back to Georgia and we ended up with a flat tire. Juan Morantes had us fixed up and on the road in around 30 minutes. The gentleman at the desk was so kind! He brought us some waters and made uplifting conversation during our mildly stressful situation. I didn’t catch his name but thanks guys for incredible service.

Initially, I brought in a car that I recently purchased and was under warranty. This Midas was listed as an approved repair facility by the warranty company. Kenya, the assistant manager, worked with me to have the car promptly evaluated, and then she contacted the warranty company to process the claim. The process was virtually seamless, and the car was repaired to my satisfaction and done so in a timely fashion. I was so impressed with the service I received here, that I returned shortly thereafter to bring my SUV, which had the battery light illuminated and the a/c was blowing hot. Jim, the lead technician, pinpointed the problem immediately (belt and tensioner). He said that the compressor may be the issue also, but that would be determined after the belt was replaced. He also cleaned the corrosion off of the battery, and topped off the coolant. He said that everything seemed to be fine now - no compressor needed at this time. In talking with Jim and Kenya, I realized that I had probably been ripped off in the past by other places, and if I had gone to any other car repair place with this issue, I probably would have been ripped off again. For the first time, I actually felt comfortable and valued as a customer at Midas. I don't plan on going anywhere else to have my vehicles serviced, and I will encourage my friends and family members to do the same!

Let me start by saying I DO NOT trust most to touch my car period and very rarely drop my car off at places and leave it there as I don't mind doing the work myself. However replacing my entire AC unit was not something I wanted to tackle. I called and spoke to Juan about everything and him and thier crew took very good care of my car and got the AC fixed up at a very good cost compared to others. Very happy with thier services and will be using them in the future if needed. He also kept me up on things during the process as requested which I greatly appreciated.

Scott at the front counter was extremely helpful. I Started my day at another well known mechanic chain for an oil change that I’ve done business with before but they don’t take appointments so I showed up at 7:25 (they open at 7:30) just to sit waiting for an hour before they tell me they won’t be able to get to my car today, I leave at 8:30 with work at 9:30…. Now I’m looking for options and run to another close by place that tells me Saturday is the earliest… driving home with the intent of getting an Uber I pull into MIDAS of TEMPLE TERRACE around 845 Scott Very calmly tells me he can have it done in 45 min … he had me out of there in 38 min … Was able to complete the Job I had scheduled and have scheduled brakes with them for today…. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE… THIS SHOULD BE YOUR FIRST CHOICE FOR ALL CAR RELATED SERVICES!!!!
