I had a terrible.experience with a big box store (bait and switch, no knowledge of local laws, horrible effort at installation....) and after returning that stove, I turned to Ackerman's. Everyone I dealt with was really nice and willing to answer all of my queries. When there was some question about space because I was replacing a Jenn-air, Leon came out to figure out which range would fit in my space. The range I ordered came and was installed very quickly and I really like the product. Perhaps it's a fancier range than I expected to buy, but I realize that local stores can't compete with big box places on the low end and so carry better brands. And, as a serious cook, I'm glad I ended up with a range with more capabilities than planned and it's a beautiful appliance. I will definitely return to Ackermans when I need my next appliance.
