Unfortunately they were not able to help the bird that fell into oil they told me I had to call Animal Control in the town I was in and they don't answer the phone

The New England wildlife center is not just a vet hospital for exotic pets, it's also an educational facility and function center. I've been bringing my reptiles here for decades and will continue to do so for their skill, compassion and my trust in their personnel.

Very knowledgeable and caring staff. Good for "unusual" pets like our leopard geco and rat that needed medical care today. We left feeling reassured and relieved that we had found a vet who cared as much as we did for our pets.

I used to be a regular volunteer here in 2009 /2010 and I loved it. The sad thing though is they no longer have a full time volunteer program. I would love to have gone back to it I would if they ever had it again. Helping the animals and keeping the place safe and clean was rewarding.

Hi Marilyn, great question and thanks for reaching out!! If you have to do yard work typically late fall would be the best time in our opinion, as most young babies will have a chance to leave the nest and migrating animals should still be in transit before hunkering down for winter.
Wow!!!!! I’m no expert, nor do I work for pest control, but I think it’s pretty safe to say that leaving ANY animal in those conditions is cruel and should be considered animal abuse/neglect!!!!! For a professional to do it, well I’d call that criminal, and they need to be in a different line of work. That is unbelievably horrible, and I’m sorry you had to witness such blatant cruelty. Not knowing if the animal was released, I sincerely hope if it wasn’t, that it didn’t suffer too long, even though one minute was a minute too long!!!!!
It is the New England Cottontails program. Generally we do not relocate wildlife so I would say no to relocation. Trap them out from under shed before it is torn down then rerelease back to their area. It is illegal to keep wild rabbits so do not keep them obce bldg is down.
I didn't personally see any. But it's a wonderful experience with the other pets. You may have to call and ask
