Amazing mosque with a beautiful community that is very caring and active in the community. Strangers don't feel like strangers there because of how welcoming they are. Definitely recommend stopping by the masjid.

Salam brother. The best way to get started is read the Quran with translation to understand it in a more deeper way. Praying the Friday and every other evening prayer in the masjid also helps acquiring not only knowledge but companions for life.
There is also: Habibi's (North on Main St & Fillmore), Hotspot (West on Broadway and Fillmore) and AL Mundi(7 blocks west of Hot Spot on Broadway). All are about 2 miles away and Certified Zabiha Halal by Madinah Pure
