We had a second mini split installed by the co-op team. Everything went smoothly and the guys were great. We highly recommend the co-op for your energy projects.

We have been using Vermont Energy Co-op since 2004. Delivery and payment plans were always seamless. Most recently we switched over to gas. We went with them to install our new furnace. Their advice and knowledge was amazing and their quote was the best of all the quotes we received. Their workers went above and beyond busting their butts to get everything completed in a timely manner even with Covid. On top of it all we received a thank you note for doing business with them, which I would never expect from an install.

In the beginning we were hesitant to buy heat pumps from a coop which still delivers gas and oil. Joe Cobb explained that they want to be part of the transition from fossil fuels. That's our goal too! Additionally, Joe had informed answers to each of the complex questions we had, both general questions, and questions specific to our house. Where should each heat pump be placed and why? What about this idea and that idea...? We found his answers the most comprehensive and knowledgeable of all we had heard. When we asked about hiding the compressors under our back deck Joe agreed. "The installers won't like me, but there is room." Indeed, one worker spent most of a hot day hunched over underneath the deck, digging and leveling spaces for three compressors. He never complained. The whole crew was helpful and solution-oriented the entire two days. After installation, Bob the crew leader gave us an instructional on using the remote controls -- one for each of the units. Again, we were left informed and with the knowledge we needed to manage our system. The whole experience left us with the feeling of money well-spent toward an energy future which should be made available to all.

We just had our furnace and hot water heater replaced with the Energy Co-op. Everything from the sales process to install was great. Joe was a professional sales person and very easy to work with. Richie and the rest of the install team were great to work with and removed a furnace, oil tank and hot water heater and replaced it all the same day! I requested a last minute change with the gas piping and without hesitation they accommodated my request. Great company!

Yes and yes, depending on what town the home is in, and the condition of the oil. Call 860-4090 and ask for Joe to get a quote.
