Got a call to schedule my CT Scan (Dr had sent order), told the person calling that I needed an MRI, not a CT scan. She replied that I needed a CT Scan. Nope, I need an MRI. Goes to check the script and says it was input wrong and I need an MRI. No kidding, I knew that. Couldn’t get me an appt for 11 days. On the day of the appt, got a call a 45 mins prior to the appt time saying they need to reschedule as they had a ‘staffing issue’. Need to wait another 11 days. Are you kidding?! Made an appt with Capital Imaging in Latham. Was able to get in earlier, they input the correct script designation, and my experience was excellent.

I called on a Wednesday. Carol was to get back to me. I called again the following Tuesday and was told Carol was out sick and additionally they weren't certain they could perform the Prophecy CT scan protocol order by the surgeon, and they didn't know how long it would take to make that determination. If I hadn't called 6 days later would they ever had let me know? I called Albany Advanced Imaging and within a few seconds was assured they could perform the CT scan and I had an appointment! Carol finally called looking for a script for the scan. I let her know it had been sent to another imaging service who responded in a timely manner.

The woman Carol in scheduling does not know what she is doing. Told her that my children need a kidney ultrasound. Couldnt figure out that the kidney s need to be imaged. Spent 5 mins talking and feel like I wasted my life away. she should not be allowed to answer the phone ever. If I was the owner I would fire her. I demand for her to be fired asap.
