Amazing food and great views. Fish Tacos were great and wedge salad with salmon was amazing. Margarita was on point. We will definitely be back. Having a pilot in the family really helps. She rates every landing and take off. Service was friendly, but a bit slow. That’s ok. Life is meant to be enjoyed and not rushed.

What a wonderful field trip off the beach, our home, to eat and watch the planes along with someone training to pilot. I WILL say that the outside seating wasn’t available because it’s off season and the time to work on things, resurfacing the patio, is completely understandable but plenty of airplane watching inside too. Walk around St. Petersburg and fill your tank at The Hanger. You won’t be disappointed. Anyway, the food is absolutely delicious! I had the hummus veggie wrap, oh so tasty with so much flavor, and my better half had the cheesesteak. Both dishes were delicious! And don’t pass on the homemade chips. They are homemade ruffles to die for. Great bar and tender, very friendly and dedicated servers. Great place to enjoy food and drink with the addition of planes taking off and landing. Thank y’all!

First time dining experience here was stellar! The food is scrumptious and the view is spectacular! We sat outside and watched the planes take off and land, and it was just an all around enjoyable time.

My thoughts while eating here were “why aren’t there more people here?” We came on Thursday night and enjoyed a small jazz band and sat outside to watch the plains land and take off. The food was excellent and the prices were reasonable. Free parking for the restaurant when you pull into the airport, which is a major plus in Downtown St. Petersburg. This is a hidden gem for sure, they have specials all through the week so just go! We will be going back for sure 😁

I saw hand sanitizer out and the servers in masks. Really though any place in Florida should be avoided right now for dining inside. Too many people here both residents and tourists just don't care about the safety of others. But back to the Hanger, they do have outside seating which is good. I would warm up to a cup of coffee outside while waiting for my museum tour time or even eat a bite outside.
There's a parking lot right next to it. Or if that's full then there a parking ramp.
Recently there was a large event that took up many of the main roads causing detours and an increase in tourists causing a rise in the cost of parking. The referenced event appears to be seasonal and have heavy influence on veichle traffic so plan for local bus loops that can get you to your destination without wading through limited side street parking in the central area of St. Petersburg
