Great food, drinks & ambience, good vegetarian options, had ordered - 1. Roasted Tomato & whipped Feta 2. Hummus 3. Butter chicken flatbread (chicken replaced with veggies)

This restaurant was a good option for us as we were seeing a play nearby and needed to make a last minute reservation. The restaurant has plenty of seating so if you’re in a pinch, they most likely will have a table available. The staff was very friendly and accommodating of our large group. We ordered many different appetizer, entree, and cocktails from their menu. Overall the food is decent, nothing we ordered was above and beyond. That being said their Irish Maiden cocktail was very tasty, and I like the novelty of their Pie Flight. That’s right, four different meat and veggie mini pies that were quite tasty. Definitely an easy going spot and family friendly.

TL;DR: That bar lady needs customer facing training and the chef needs research into the cuisine he/she is cooking. If you're a brit, go elsewhere bruv. X I'll start with the fact that I was crazy-excited to go to this pub because it offered Sunday roast is almost impossible to find in the US and I horribly miss my home and its cuisine! So elephant and castle seemed like it'd be a lovely place to try! The inside looks lovely and almost like a British pub. The sunday roast, we were notified, is not served until after 11. Fair enough, we thought and sat at the bar to get some drinks whilst waiting. The lady at the bar gave me the worst attitude I've seen (I'm not sure if it's the same one in another review, but sounds similar!). I'm not asking anyone to dance for me, not no need to be so dismissive! On top of that the Sunday roast - if you are British, don't. Just don't. First, as the name suggests, it's all supposed to roasted - please do your research about this fairly simple dish. Secondly, lady at the counter gave me a nasty look and told me to just read the menu when I asked her what is in the roast and whether they offer nutroast (instead of beef), again, do your research please. Lastly after seeing the roast and the "yorkshire pudding" and having tried it - I refused to pay for it - not a single thing was even close to Sunday roast. And when I asked that same lady take it off the bill, she told me to go see the manager. I asked her - well can you get him here please? she refused to move herself and told me to go around and go see him. The manager was a lovely gent and is the only reason that I left some tip and giving this place 2 stars.

Do they show the football?

They have TVs. I am sure they would put on whatever you wish.

Can you watch sports there?

Yes, it's not the best place as they don't have many TVs, but if you sit at the bar or find a seat near one of the other screens tucked away, you should be good.

I believe that you have a meeting/dining room in the basement of your Boston Restaurant. What is involved in reserving from say 9 pm to 11 pm on Monday evening, April 9th? Need table and chairs, plus would order food and drink for about 8. rick

You need to contact them directly, when you ask a question on here you're just asking other people that have visited the venue.

Can you tell me when you first opened in Boston? Thanks!

The name "Elephant and Castle" is derived from a coaching inn in South London which also gave name to the surrounding area. The name has been first mentioned in 1765. When the "Elephant and Castle" in Boston opened is hard to find, but a nice fact is that the "Elephant and Castle" symbol is already in use in England from the 13th century.
