I went here for my COVID shot. They were very prompt, efficient and competent.

While filling a new script I asked about medication interaction.. the pharmacy was empty with no one in front or behind me... the pharmacist was on the phone so the assistant told me to wait a sec and then ask.. well after the pharmacist hung up the assistant came over and told me to Google the medications to see how they interact.. instead of getting worked up I'm now going to spread awareness of the situation. I did Google and found that one of my medications does not go well with my new one but had to figure it out myself.

I have been shopping here for over 26 years. They are consistently clean, and have fresh produce and dairy products. Staff is always friendly and keeps the shelves stocked. Location is convenient to my house. I could go across the street to Winn Dixie for their so called better pricing and gas deals but the quality is far better here at Publix and I don't notice that the pricing is any higher here. I rarely go anywhere else.

I shop here allot for a reason the service is good. Other Publix stores are good to but I like this store and it is closest to my house. Sometimes I have to run to another Publix like University but not often. The commons Publix is so appealing because its not the biggest Publix just the most convenient. There are only a few items they don't carry at this location that I now get from specialty stores or the bigger Publix's like Lakewood Ranch, University or Paradise Plaza. Like they say in Sarasota Magazine this is probably the best bakery in town. After living in Sarasota for 20 years I can safely say that 95 percent or more of everything I eat and drink comes from this store. I could shop any where but I choose to shop here. It's my opinion that they sell the safest and best selection of meat out of any Sarasota business. of course you use other shops for some things but this is where allot of people on the north side shop for food and beverage. If you don't like huge stores but want quality goods and good service for general grocery shopping this is the place.
