I was passing through the area and found this church to appear traditional because by the pictures and the website. I attended the 8 am mass on Sunday and it was one of the worst experiences I have had at a Catholic mass. The Ukrainian priest celebrated mass extremity quickly and acted like he did not want to be there. Liturgical abuse was rampant. His lack of focus, nonchalant attitude, irreverence, and sense of urgency was sickening. Top it all off, his homily was 20 minutes long and all about him. It was filled with Personal stories and some of the most obscure and irrelevant information I have heard. I learned nothing of value. Lastly, I was appalled at the liturgical music. The organist was good, but the male and female cantors were tone deaf and distracting. Their mics were so loud I couldn’t hear myself think and it gave me a headache. If I was attending a Catholic Church for the first time, I would have never come back. This church needs to re-evaluate its priorities to focus on tradition, reverence, and fear of the Lord.

The homilies here are amazing. This is a wonderful church with people who are personable and very friendly. You have the choice of attending a Latin mass or attending it in English. I also like receiving communion on the tongue and you have that option here. I never knelt at an alter before to receive communion in a regular mass and I loved how that was an option as well. The connection here is endless. Give it a chance especially if you are trying to reconnect or become stronger in faith. Your heart will feel wonders. God bless.

A very warm, friendly, welcoming congregation. Fr. Pecchie gives great homilies, providing both a historical background and perspective to better understand the readings. Lots of activities for the individual as well as families.
