I love this library so much, I think my husband is a little jealous! The Free Library of Philadelphia is one of the most amazing resources in the city! It's easy to get books from any branch by putting things on hold. I do this regularly to save money (not buying books on Amazon) and explore new things before (sometimes) buying the books on Amazon anyway! The interlibrary loan program is also phenomenal. You can get ANY book from the network of libraries. I use this often when I am reading a book that mentions another book that I want to read. If that book isn't available from the free library, it's easy to get it through interlibrary loan! My kids enjoy visiting the library and especially like the collection of kids' dvds. They always have several pokémon dvds available. The kids also enjoy the selection of graphic novels in the children's department. My kids do miss the toys that were available precovid so hopefully those come back soon along with the fun events and story times. Most of the library staff is friendly and kind, and the restrooms are clean and available if needed. Thank you to the Wynnefield Free Library for being such a great neighborhood resource!
