Just visited again for the first time since being a child and it's still just as magical as I remember. Tons of paths to walk, nature to experience and the visitor center is informative and the staff are wonderful 😊

This beautiful majestic place never disappoints. It's a four season beautiful park. Lovingly maintained with boardwalks, edged trails, and surprises around every corner. Several small family oriented trails easy to follow. And for the adventurous I like to go a little deeper into the woods a nice trail around the lake that goes through the woods with very little elevation. Fabulous views of the lake. This is my go-to last minute need time for reflection back to nature inviting place. Free parking at the nature center and if that park. The park also I covered picnic area and a few gazebos. You can hike, bike, kayak, fish, picnic, enjoy all of nature's beauty.

Took a nice hike to the observation deck, watched and took photos of a white egret hunting for dinner, got some nice shots of dragonflies, butterflies, and a green heron. Was an enjoyable afternoon.

It was way better than I thought. Nice clean trails, a lot of shade, its a very big park. The benches are here and there, you can sit down and relax. You can bring your dog. There are some picnic tables as well, so you can have a nice break. I loved it.

I don't think at the Nature Center.. but at Silver Lake & Magnolia Lake you can till dusk
As far as I know they are closed Labor day (center) but trails are open dawn to dusk
Yes, but they are rare compared to moles. I have seen one in the past 12 years.
