This place has really gone down hill been going there for about 10 years i got a shrimp salad sandwich it hardly had anything on it and no flavor at all , it had alot of mayo and a ton of celery, pickle tasted like it was soaking in water. Waiter took forever to get us refills, i wont be going back

I've been going here with my family for more than 10 years. Out of all the restaurants in the Hunt valley cockeysville area, Ashland Cafe hands down has the best breakfast as well as a good sports and entertainment viewing area in their main restaurant. I've never sat outside but I noticed their outdoor seating is comfortable and well spread out. Occasionally they have live music as well as trivia and other things to entertain. All the traditional food is good but I go for breakfast all the time and that is where it really stands out with variety and quality and I have hardly ever had to wait more than 10 minutes for food.

Go to this cafe everytime we come to Baltimore to see the grand kids. Staff is very attentive to their needs. Today i needed a Heinrich. My son in law saved the day. But Thanks to the caring staff. BTW, the food is great.

From rhe outside parking lot, the place looks like a convience store. Inside was eh, but outdoor seating looked more inviting. They did have a good selection on their menu and prices were decent. My husbands himefries came out cold although the top was hot ans the plate was hot which made it seemed it was from a microwave! And to top it off, it was brought out 6 minutes before our breakfast came out. When our food came I requested a new plate of home fries and the waitress said ok and explained she was sorry she had forgot to put it in the original order and had to place a seperate order for that. When the new home fries came out, it was night and day these were fresh and hot and much more on the plate then before. The french toast tasted like they were frozen french toast and not fresh home made ones. Now WE NEVER SAW THE WAITRESS AGAIN!!! The check was left under one of the plates of food. After the food comes you do get checked up on, but not with the waitress we had.
