We were disappointed to see that Carroll County Maryland government removed the playground for children at the park. A quick check with Carroll County government and they inform me that the playground was at the end of its useful and safe life. So they are replacing it! It's supposed to be installed by the end of june, 2022. If they do what they say, then great job to Carroll County government leaders and the Parks and recreation department! Update June 16th, 2022: there is absolutely no progress towards building a replacement playground for the children. I certainly hope Carroll County Government fulfills their commitment to replace it. My experience with politicians is that they are all liars and that the only thing a citizen can do in our form of democratic government is to always vote against the incumbent regardless of their political affiliation.

Nice park. Great paved walking trail. Playground for the kids. Limited parking during soccer season with the North Carroll Rec Council playing their soccer here. Still a great park. On the weekends when there are sport events parking is still an issue.

Great easy waking path. Fields for organized sports, playground for the littles, even a short path into the woods with a few picnic tables. The surface of the path is well maintained and stays fairly dry even after a heavy rain. We walk every day and this is a "go to" for us.
