The store is well maintained the pricing great. The staff is super friendly and, customer service orientated. I left my handbag there. Thay called the police to make sure l received my handbag. It's just another dollar store but they usually have a lot to look through & its surprising to see items that you weren't looking for. I prefer not to purchase clothing from a dollar store but they even sell clothes. Its not the biggest or newest dollar store I've seen but its not bad. I've seen a lot. My girlfriend is very crafty & is a kindergarten teacher. She will sometimes check craft stores & dollar stores for classroom, crafting, supplies. Eveey time we eat at Snyder's, at least once every other week, she checks the Dollar General before we leave & nine times out of ten we leave with at least one thing.

Truthfully I felt I experienced a blatant act of racism in Dollar General tonight, by a cashier. 4 people in line 2 white and 2 black. 1 white being waited on the other is next in line. the white cashier says ma'am I'll take you on the other side. she did just that, and closed the register leaving us 2 blacks still standing in the other line. How did she have the nerve to ring up one person and not the others who just happened to be black. Surely a racial act. Her defense - she was just trying to help. Well we needed help just like that white woman did, but I guess the cashier didn't want to help us.

Have the same products as a regular grocery store (although not as many varieties or as much volume of product) but the prices are definitely cheaper, definitely worth checking out. The good thing about this Dollar Store is that there's a full sized grocery store right next door so you could buy whatever you can for a cheaper price at the Dollar Store, then buy everything else that the Dollar Store might not have a the full sized grocery store without having to drive somewhere else!
