Of the many Whole Foods stores I've visited over many years... Maybe 20? This was the least inspired, energetic, pleasant, or well-organized. Compared to other grocery stores I've visited lately, the prices were high and products uninteresting. It was a chore to find dinner. The ready to eat foods seemed blase and various stations were half-operational. Yes, someone was mixing some dough in the bakery and there were pizzas, but there was minimal appeal across the store. Sure, what I bought was acceptable. But that is three stars, not five.

Columbia Wholefoods is well run and i perfer it much to the Annapolis Wholefoods which i also frequent in my travels. In a comparison of cooked food to go, Columbia has a salad and hot bar which has fresher and a better selection and better maintained then Annapolis. And also they are better at making pizza by the slice than the Annapolis store. The pizza in Annapolis always looks like it was made by someone untrained in making pizza and often looks like it's been sitting there all day. So in this regard i think the Columbia store is much better run than the Annapolis Wholefoods.

This place is always bustling with people. They don't offer much variety at the hot food bar, which is expensive. They do offer a variety of options elsewhere. I wish they had more sales. Parking is sufficient, and I can always get a cart. The self-serve line was too long! Maybe they should consider having more than one.

Location is huge. My favorite location in MD. Always place a order at PLNT burger and then shop and pick up when done. If it’s nice outside you can grab a bite and sit out at the park while the kids play at the playground and look out at the water. There a live concerts too during the summer so you can always enjoy that. Just an overall nice atmosphere and place to be ☺️

You should calm them not sure.
Not the expert on this, but masks required. No eating inside. Physical distancing, 6 feet. They even want people to mask up from car to the door.
They are planning on implementing a system like Trader Joe's has, using containers with pull-down levers rather than scoops. That way, the method is more sanitary, etc.
Save what goes into landfill. Use diluted bleach, or if must, Lysol liquid, with washable cloths (old cotton t-shirts work well) for disinfecting.
Yes, on items that change every sale period. Also there is an app you can download for information as to which items those are, and a barcode scanner for your membership
