This place was nice at one time. My mother's last stay here was HORRIBLE! The nurse's complain about filing reports on other nurse's about not doing there jobs. I personally complained to staff and nurses. Borderline unprofessional staff, and the level of care was lack luster at best. The final straw was finding my 88 year old mother on the floor of this facility. So after 1 week my mom was transferred to Little Company of Mary as a result of the fall shortly passed. Being transferred was the best thing y o come out of this experience. Windsor garden is not a place for someone you love.

This place is not suitable for humans or animals. I find it deplorable that a hospital would send any patients there. And I will be admonishing the hospital that sent my loved one there. My loved one was incarcerated to WG, on Sept 6th and on Sept 7th, sent to the ER. Apparently, no one is qualified to detect blood in urine. It saddens me to see the helpless number of people there. It made me want to cry to see the faces of people that truely need care, patience and respect. And to know that they will not be getting anything of the kind in this place, brings tears and anger to my heart. The owners/administrators should be ashamed. I bet you that no one in their families would be placed there. Please, don't send your loved one to this facility.

I want to say when I first came to Windsor Gardens of Hawthorne three yrs ago I really thought this was the best nursing facility that I'd been to I really loved it but my second day here I experienced rudeness nd disrespect reported it to the admin nd she did nothing about it nd continued by two African nurses nd a week later me my first time ever bein in a nursing facility I made a mistake nd said something cruel in the presence of my roommate nd I was reprimanded by the admin I apologized for it nd let her kno that it wouldn't happen again she then told me that she was goin to find somewhere else for me to go she was eventually terminated but since I've been here I've been drugged twice the first nurse which was African she was terminated but the other nurse is still employed there nd still passing meds so many ppl has left Windsor Gardens of Hawthorne I've noticed that since this admin has been here Windsor Gardens of Hawthorne has gone down down down this the worst it's ever been Feb 2017 I was told by the admin after bein here one week that I complain too much but my complaints were legitimate complaints so I started bein refused care after hours of my call light bein on for hours a time refused medication I've had to call the police numerous times because of neglect I didn't kno what else to do everyone was afraid that they would lose their jobs if they helped me I was told once I started calling the state getting them involved nd writing up grievance reports which she had to resolve in three was never done so I felt like she wanted to retaliate or hurt me she tried having my children banned from comin to visit me corporate I told them about it nd they let her kno that she couldn't ban my kids so did the next best thing (in a sense) that she knew could keep my kids from comin to visit me she filed a restraining order on my son nd my daughter the employees here couldn't believe it because they had been seeing my kids for years nd knew they never caused any problems. The word on the street is Windsor Gardens of Hawthorne is called killer Windsor Gardens of Hawthorne now out of all the 3 years that I've been a resident here police were never called here the admin started calling the police on my kids to have them escorted off the premises if seems like they're just hiring ppl off the street if you could see the appearances their hygiene atrocious that's just how bad they needed employees because the ppl were quitting as fast as they were bein hired the nurses passes medication nd leave the room I've heard meds are bein sold for money my blood pressure has been high every single day since this admin arrived Feb 2017 I've been hospitalized a few times... I feel like if something's not done nd fast this place will be shutdown after all that's happening to this facility it's the ppl that works here because this is a very nice facility but it's goin down nd fast!! #itslikeaghosttownhere #theresidentsaredisappearing #onebyone #HELP
