I have been going to the Milwaukee VA for approx 4 years. The best care hands down. My Primary Care doctor, Dr Kuester always goes above and beyond the call of duty. I have had several tests and a few procedures done with care, kindness and understanding. I would not hesitate in recommending the Milwaukee VA to all local vets.

I’ve had nothing but great experiences here. Been a patient since this time last year and am very grateful for the caring doctors, nurses and staff. This is now the standard by which I’ll measure healthcare facilities. Update: still receiving the very best care. Grateful and blessed, staff and facility is awesome.

You will need a consult from your primary care provider. Currently, Ortho is on the 7th floor.
Wood National Cemetary is actually a seperate entity from the VAMC. They can provide you with the burial location.
All of your records, meds, etc. are available on myhealthvet.com. You can create an account if you don't have one. Then you have everything available whenever you need it. www.myhealth.va.gov

Not sure. But theVA has contacts with people that DO.
Yes The Patriot Store is open 8AM until 3PM on Saturday and Sunday.
Unless your friend is coming in for treatment.... probably not.
More than enough to take good care of you!
Sorry man I don't know how many beds it's got but overall it's awesome place to get care they take good care of us. They just took care of me and we beat bladder cancer they're the ones that did it
Sleep clinic is on the 5th floor in the A wing. Room is in the 5200's.
I've yet to have any problems there, or treatment issues, and never had any issues as to any co-pay problems, so it's not about money, either.
There are usually 2 to a room. I've been hospitalized there a few times and 2 out of 3 times I was by myself. Other than having a roommate it's very private.

We have an annual Free Electronics Recycling event. This year, it will be on Tuesday, April 23rd from 7am-2pm at building 6.
Call VA medical center information and what your husband status is at the VA and what are his and yours benefits! You may have to go down there!
Primary Doctor have to refer you to Mental Health. Everything starts with the primary .
No
It's the women veterans clinic and men's
Yes they do. I will be having mine done shortly there.
As a Veteran who is at the VA frequently I can tell you they're always remodeling stuff. As far as the old building I'm not sure. Housing for Vets is there on the campus it just depends on the Veterans circumstances. I believe they do have long term housing but it's few in number.
I can't give a certain answer but if you are not already enrolled in eBenefits and MyHealtheVet do so. I'm enrolled in both. I've never tried to access billing information. Otherwise call billing and ask if you can do that electronically. Hope this helped.
There is a V. A. Office on Greenfield Ave, about the 6300 block. First level of the new apartments. They can help and direct you with any questions you might have regarding all veterans benefits.
You would need to call them for specifics.
It's larger than most ive seen in hospitals. That being said, it seems to have less "get well" items but a heck of a lot of convince type items. They even have TVs and other electronics. There is no sales tax on any of the items either, so thats a big plus
They have a program to volunteer to do just that. You need to pass some blood tests and interviews.
The Hoptel is located in Building 123 on the VA grounds. All mail is routed through a single address for all VA offices. Address it as 5000 W National Ave. Building 123 Hoptel. Milwaukee WI 53295
Yes
Depend on what kind of discharge and if you are covered by VA. If you are below a certain economic level you can get dental help. You just have to make that first step to call.
Find out if you qualify by calling the medical center and when they set a appointment bring your DD-214.
They haven't said yet. Once I know when the start given it to patients that are not inside the hospital, I will let you know.
This weekend (16th - 17th) at the Milwaukee VA Clinic
I have no idea Michael, I'm not a medical doctor. you would need to call your local VA and ask them. Or visit this website: https://www.va.gov/health-care/covid-19-vaccine Take care 😎
