I went to the highland Senior center to sign up as a new member and found much to my dismay that the staff wer very rude to some members. sadly when I called to report and complain about what I'd heard in the hallway in front of several other people I was speaking to the very person who did this. She went on to offer an explanation but to me there was no explaining rudeness she humiliated and old homeless man in front of other people. If nothing else this action could have been taken in private with the man if she's decided that she needed to send him a strong message she could have done it in the privacy of her office. There just is no excuse for poor manners. Sadly again I was so disturbed by what I had heard and seen along with the sarcastic tone in which it came I did not sign up I tore the application in half and walked out. When I contacted her and ask simply did you see anything wrong with what you did her reply was a blunt no!
