I've tried over and over to give Speed Queen another chance, that's it. Wait in line for one hour, come out of your way. Only to get a Shoulder Dinner without enough sauce, an what little sauce you have the extra bread has soaked it up. STOP GOING TO SPEED QUEEN

Good service but food kind of shady baked beans taste like pork n beans they have the smallest rib tips I’ve ever seen. I would not recommend only because I’ve given them a second chance and both times I was disappointed. Definitely could give more bang for the buck.

Speed Queen BBQ has been around since I was a kid. I'm in my 50s now and it's still here, still delicious. Although I no longer eat pork, I have found other options. My favorite is the Turkey on a Bun. It's a sandwich on a sesame bun, loaded with chunks of turkey in BBQ sauce. I will wait in the long line just to get it; and the line is long every day. Be prepared, they only take cash. Your mouth will savor the yumminess!

The meat they call Outside is amazing, burnt/crispy and we love both of their sauces! Mac & Cheese is some of the best I’ve had! I’d love cornbread instead of the white bread and a bigger coleslaw, but it’s about the BBQ! Cash only.

Yep, Speed Queen bbq just isn't the same like back in the day, same with Jake's ,higher prices and smaller portions
You sho right. Its trash. They must not read the reviews. Mexican serve their food one-way, and blacks, another. Speed queen needs to throw that slop in the trash and close its doors God help us!!!!
No. But they should. This would be an excellent accomplishment if they did or could deliver. The intrest would be handicapped and those "shut in" because of physical/ mental conditions.
They just not same as they use to be,go to famous Dave's you get your money worth n then some.watch and see all the black ppl be there like it's speed queen barbecue.

"Outside" is the outside of the pork shoulder that has the bark or crust after is comes off of the bbq pit. This is where the smoke flavor is the most pronounced. A large pork shoulder coming off the pit has only a limited amount of outside on it, the rest is just cooked meat. That is why the menu states "on availability". Shoulder dinner is just the shoulder meat with no outside. Pork shoulders do not have any skin on them. Shoulder dinners are not beef, they are pork. Google "pork shoulder" to see what they look like before they go on the pit.
I ask for extra mixed sauce all the time
Got to go to famous Dave's that real barbecue n u get your money worth n back if it taste nasty or cold,no problem at all.only thing speed queen cooks good most of the time is the cat fish.
Not sure but the food still taste the same to me.
